MISSION:

One Love Dance Company (OLDC) is LDF's nonprofit organization. The mission of our nonprofit is to provide students with professional training and performance experience as well as to provide the community with a diverse and innovative dance based performance company. 

We choose a variety of community projects for our dancers to participate in to encourage the development of compassion and of course LOVE.

WHAT WE’VE ACCOMPLISHED:

With the help of LDF dancers and their families, here are some of the OLDC community service projects we are so pleased to have participated in: 

• Organized & put together 30 toiletry bags and 60 snack bags for Natalie’s Sisters
• Made homemade valentines for UKY Children’s Hospital and for two nursing homes,The Willows at Hamburg and Bluegrass Care & Rehabilitation Center
• Donated 200 books to Jessamine Early Learning Center
• Collected bins of clothing & supplies for The Carter G. Woodson Preparatory Academy
• Performed duets, trios & small groups at nursing homes and other outside agencies
• Participated in National Domestic Violence Awareness month by wearing purple and raising awareness for Greenhouse 17, a local agency committed to ending intimate partner abuse
• Donated dry goods, food and funds to God’s Pantry 
• Collected funds for Eastern Kentucky Flood victims
• Sponsored LDF Boyz classes

This is such a great way for our dancers to become involved in our mission, we encourage everyone to be a part of OLDC

WHAT WE CONTINUE TO DO:

• Cookies with Clara 
• Holiday Ornaments
• Vending Machine
• Nutcracker school shows (in 2023 we hosted 21 school groups with over 1,500 people in attendance!) 
• LDF & One Love Summer Dance Intensives 
• 
  Order, organize, manage ballet costumes for: 
• Nutcracker
• Recital
• Plus rent costumes for ballet Solos, Duos, Trios & Small Groups
